Ed Parker's American Kenpo. Employs a blend of Chinese circular movements and Japanese hard linear movements.

American Kenpo is a martial art characterized by the use of quick hand strikes in rapid succession. The multitude of fast strikes has a dual purpose, perhaps overwhelming an opponent, while attempting to ensure that some strikes effectively distory their target. Kenpo is also know as Fist Law.

The name Sifu (Cantonese Chinese) means master or teacher. Mr.Phillips is the Sifu of the Wulun Kenpo Karate school.  Black belts are adressed as Mr. or Miss.  The word Dojo (Japanese) means school or training hall. The word Gi (Japanese) means training unifrom. When stepping on and off the training floor you must bow in and out as a show of respect to the Dojo.
